The flash embedding code generated by flash should be enough for this.

Default similar problem

Hi, I managed to get this to work and it looks great, but it was more by luck than anything (as I don't know much about flash) and I have had to keep all the files in the same top level for it to work. I can't find the js code you mention to alter the path to the data file:

Quote:
Edit index.html file with an ascii.html editor and find the following javascript line:
so.addVariable("xml", "data.xml");
Replace data.xml with the any other xml file path.
Does this pre-exist or do you need to add, and if so where and how.

Thanks.

That code has been created in the provided .html file, so that you could optionally change you .xml name. By default data.xml will be loaded if this code it's not present in your .html.

I too cannot find an index.html file or javascript string to modify.

I have two components that are running from the root dir and cant have two data.xml's - I am unable to modify the second one..

Please advise how to rename my data.xml to something else and make it workable?

Cheers.

Sorry - Where abouts is this file located within the zipped folder and what is the file name?

I have an urgent project to finish up and cannot find any solution to this at all.

If the 'so.addVariable("xml", "data.xml");' string needs to be added - where abouts in my page does this need to go so that i can change it to something like 'so.addVariable("xml", "ticker/ticker.xml");'.

Cheers for your help.

Hi, I have attached a js an html file with the code that you will need to embed this. This will surely get you out of any troubles, it was my fault, I thought I embedded the .html along with the package, sorry.
